I know - we are a couple of weeks into January and I am just NOW getting around to setting my goals for 2018. Honestly, I wanted to wait a few days (ahem, or 13) to let that first initial emotion of “resolution-setting” settle so I could take a more realistic look at what I’d like to see for myself in the upcoming year. Now that my resolutions are set... I debated this morning writing a long, drawn out post where I got into the nitty gritty about my personal goals but instead have decided that I’m going to share how those goals will influence my blog content coming in 2018.

Jett is now four months old and has been sleeping through the night (hooray!!) since around 2.5 months! I count my blessings everyday with my sleeping baby, and I know that we lucked out with a naturally good sleeper, but I'm a big believer in getting Jett to stick to a routine, knowing he really thrives on a good schedule and that ultimately it translates to a good night's sleep.

We realized last week that this wa sour 5th year spending Thanksgiving together in Scottsdale. It has become a tradition, spending the long weekend with Brandon’s family in sunny Arizona and one we have really come to look forward to as the 70 degree November temperatures offer as Kansas City is just starting to get cold and dark, the streets lined with barren trees.
