I can't tell you how many times I changed my mind when planning out Jett's nursery (isn't that how it always goes!) We first had a grey, white, and mint green color palette, which turned into just grey and white, and then I ultimately landed on this monochrome palette after starting to pull together grey and white pieces, realizing I needed something else to give the room pop.

We knew we wanted an adventure/travel theme for little Jett's nursery and so I kept my eyes peeled for maps, safari animals, arrows, little planes, etc, when I was out hunting for decor.

Our first thing we ever got for his room was first the crib, then crib bedding. I loved this grey arrow print bedding set from Caden Lane and we used this print going forward as our inspiration for everything else going forward. (Huge end of summer sale over on Cadenlane.com, btw! Up to 20% off!) I love this set because it stays pretty neutral, yet the arrow print makes it stand out - without being TOO loud.

The black and white animal photos are very special to me as Brandon had taken them himself in Africa a few years ago while on a safari. When i was trying to come up with a good focal point for the room above his crib, I remembered these photos still sitting on the hard drive that had never been printed. I chose my favorites, converted them black and white and had them printed! My favorite part of the room!

Second favorite has to be the glider! That was an important purchase for me because I knew I would be spending a lot of time in it. This one is so comfortable, and it  gets me through the late night feedings! Jett approves of its gentle rocking motion too!
