Baby Cusick Nursery
Before even finding out if baby Cusick was a boy or girl, I knew I was leaning toward a more neutral palate for the nursery. I just think there is something so classic and sharp about whites and greys and either way I figured I would focus on those two colors when putting together the room.
We also really wanted to incorporate an "adventure theme" as we both love to travel and seeking out adventure and are planning on passing on the love we have for exploring the world to our little guy! Arrows, maps and animals will all be part of the decor, including a couple of large black and white prints of wild animals Brandon was able to capture on camera a few years back while on a safari in Africa! I just think it will be so special to add little personalized touches to make the room his very own!
This arrow crib bedding from Caden Lane was perfect for my grey-and-white adventure theme and was a starting place for the rest of the patterns I hope to incorporate in the room with rugs, blankets and pillows. I just love to mix and match patterns and this arrow print was just too cute to pass up! Caden Lane has a pretty large selection of prints and themes for bedding, changing pad covers, curtains and more (so many that it was hard to choose my favorite!)
My other favorite detail of the room is this super cute animal map print I found on Etsy! I saw lots of cute maps for nurseries when I was searching around, but this is by far my favorite!
I will keep you updated as we get the nursery up and running, but I can't wait to finish it and share with you the big nursery reveal! I know baby will love it too!
