Be Fearless

Do you ever feel like you are not doing enough? That you are behind, that you don't measure up, that you are inferior? I have struggled with this for a really long time. I discount my abilities and beat myself up when I mess up and have a hard time giving myself credit for the things I AM good at. Can you relate?? It has only been recently that I have been able to identify these feelings and work on changing my inner dialogues to celebrate my strengths and stop focusing on the negative. Now, I am not completely there YET, but I have noticed how much happier and how much more drive I have when I can explore my passions and hone in on the things that I love to do and that I am GOOD at. And slowly the hesitancy and fear to chase a dream that I have had and been too scared to go after because of all my insecurities... it begins to break down and wither away.

Everyone has heard the idea that you should always be stepping out of your comfort zone - that this is where all the really awesome things begin to happen. And as much as I hate to admit it, because I looove that comfy little zone- (where my sweatpants are on and my hair is up in a messy bun, and I am cuddled up in a fuzzy warm blanket watching Netflix on a Saturday night) it is sooo freakin' true! Get out of that zone! You don't have to do it ALL the time, but do it.

You will be better for it.
